Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TaxConnect service, website, and related applications (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Count On Us Services (“TaxConnect,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete account information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable Pakistani laws and regulations, including FBR rules regarding e-invoicing. You may not:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Submit false or fraudulent invoice data to FBR/PRAL
  • Attempt to circumvent any security measure or access restriction
  • Use the Service to transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Access or attempt to access another user’s account without authorization

3. Invoicing and FBR Submission Responsibilities

TaxConnect provides a technical platform for submitting invoices to PRAL/FBR. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You remain the registered taxpayer and are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all invoice data submitted through the Service
  • TaxConnect acts as a tool and intermediary — we are not the filer of your invoices
  • You are responsible for ensuring your invoices comply with FBR requirements, including correct NTN, STRN, HS codes, and tax calculations
  • TaxConnect does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice
  • We reserve the right to reject or flag submissions that appear erroneous or non-compliant

4. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected during registration:

  • Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as expressly stated
  • All payments are processed securely through our billing partner, Polar
  • Plans are billed per accounting organization
  • We may change our fees with 30 days’ notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period
  • Late payments may result in service suspension

5. Cancellation and Termination

Cancellation by You: You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Termination by Us: We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:

  • You violate these Terms or applicable laws
  • Your payment is past due
  • We are required to do so by law or regulatory authority

Upon termination, your data will be retained for 90 days before secure deletion. You are responsible for exporting any data you need before termination.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, logos, and branding, is owned by TaxConnect / Count On Us Services. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service during your subscription term. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service without our express written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • TaxConnect is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
  • We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
  • In no event shall TaxConnect or Count On Us Services be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunity
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • This limitation applies whether the claim is based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TaxConnect, Count On Us Services, and their officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any applicable law.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
